Randall K. Smith

Randy is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and successfully grown several technology and logistics companies. At each venture, he has raised the requisite capital, created and executed strategic business plans, and rapidly grown the companies. Throughout his career, Randy has performed market research, assessed feasibility, written functional specifications and design documents, and worked with his technical teams to develop and implement successful, best-in-class business technology solutions.

Randy is a co-founder and serves as President of OnSeen. OnSeen is a software development company that builds mobile workforce management (MWM) solutions, powered by its proprietary Resource Allocation AI. OnSeen MWM solutions allow organizations to intelligently, efficiently and rapidly allocate, assign, schedule, dispatch, monitor and manage their remote staff, contractors, supplies, and equipment. Under Randy’s leadership, OnSeen has fielded industry-leading, AI-powered MWM solutions in multiple segments, including home healthcare, insurance and developmental disabilities.

Prior to OnSeen, he cofounded SmartCrowdz, an event management technology company.  Preceding SmartCrowdz, Randy was co-founder, board member and President of ClearSaleing, the market-leading advertising analytics company which he subsequently sold to GSI Commerce in 2011. Before ClearSaleing, Randy served as President and a member of the Board of Directors at Linmar Systems, a technology consultancy focused on business process management. Randy also founded and built ECNext (renamed Manta) into the premier provider of electronic commerce services to the commercial publishing industry and business information to small businesses. In 1989, Randy founded IMPEX Logistics, a successful international trade and technology consultancy and ongoing concern. Prior to founding IMPEX, he spent 8 years at Digital Equipment Corporation where he conceived, developed and managed the International Logistics Center that managed the company’s global supply chain.

Randy received his M.B.A. degree from The Ohio State University and his B.S. degree in Marketing from Miami University.
