Brittany Farabee Joseph

Brittany Farabee Joseph, M.Ed. has been a part of the Ohio Tech Ambassador team since 2022. She joined the team to provide expanded opportunities for families and caregivers to connect with a peer for support. Brittany’s son, Payton was diagnosed with Autism when he was young and she uses many of their family experiences with technology to educate others. Professionally, Brittany spent over ten years of her career at Bowling Green State University teaching assistive technology courses and as the graduate coordinator of their certificate and master’s degree program in assistive technology. Her passion for research, advocacy, and working in communities then led her to The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center where she worked with the HEALing Communities Study, a $65 million National Institute of Health (NIH) grant project. She is actively involved in the Northwest Ohio Autism community and loves giving back to non-profit organizations that lift up individuals with developmental disabilities through providing training, technical assistance, and grant writing support. In her free time she likes to spend time with her two boys, Payton and Parker on Lake Erie.
