Shannan Palma, PhD

Dr. Shannan Palma (she/ her; late-diagnosed Autistic + ADHD) is Cofounder and Co-Executive Director of Independence Through Interdependence ITI Lab, developers of the app Decide. Dr. Palma is an experienced nonprofit administrator, product developer, and computer science educator, and an award-winning expert in how and why people become invested in stories, symbols, and ideas that are not in their own best interests. The concept of mythos at the core of her academic work correlates to general-to-specific neural processing (neurotypical thinking).
