Sarah Heldmann, BS, COTA/L, ATP
Sarah Heldmann, BS, COTA/L, ATP has over twenty-five years of experience working in the disability community. Sarah has worked in both school and community-based settings as an occupational therapy assistant with the primary population served being those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Sarah is an assistive technology professional. Sarah works at the Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities, teaches in the occupational therapy assistant program at Owens Community College and serves on the state licensure board for occupational therapy in Ohio. Sarah enjoys challenging perspectives about disability by encouraging folks to think beyond the paradigm of low expectations and helping folks with disabilities dream big and achieve those dreams.
