Biography:

Lauren Shepler is as a Disability Consultant and Co-Family Advocate Faculty for LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities). Lauren went through LEND in 2021-2022 as a self-advocate. She is now a disability consultant and assists the Nisonger Center on grant projects such as: Building Bridges and the Ohio Disability and Health Partnership LinkAges Program. Lauren is a mother to a young child with disabilities. Prior to LEND, Lauren gained experiences in human resources, finance, and customer service while working in the education, government, and public library field. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Communication from Ohio University.
