PROJECT STEER
CONSULTATION

Consultation Workbook
Our research team learned valuable lessons about engaging with the autism community over the course of our work with Project STEER. Throughout this experience we were reminded of the benefits and challenges of pursuing genuine engagement, and learned about best practices through trial and error, feedback from Project STEER members, and talking to others in the engagement space. These lessons learned have been collated into a workbook for researchers called, “A Workbook to Support Community-Engaged Autism Research: Lessons from Project STEER.”
