Position Description:
Family Resource Network Coordinator (Job Opening 420234) – Coordinates daily operations of the Family Resource Network at Nisonger Center; plans, develops, and coordinates a statewide network of Family Information Specialists (FIS) trained in the LifeCourse framework and tools; recruits, trains, and coordinates a state-wide pool of FIS with in-depth problem solving and planning skills; recruits, trains, and coordinate a state-wide pool of parent-to-parent mentors, parents, family members, and self-advocates with legislative advocacy skills; schedules programs and facilities and prepares and maintains a calendar of
events; inventories disability-related information, resources, and trainings around the state; develops and maintains the Family Resources website; coordinates project purchasing; prepares project reports and plans for continuation of activities; manages data input to the National Information Reporting System (NIRS) and generates reports for program reporting; interfaces with partner University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at University of Cincinnati Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD), the funding agency.
