My organization has supported the Competencies. What’s next?
We encourage those who have expressed support of the Competencies to share this information with their employees, partners, stakeholders, or others through an announcement or press release. You may use the suggested language contained in the following document or customize your own.
Please see the Toolkit below for documents that provide more information about health disparities for people with disabilities and the need for educational standards, the Core Competencies on Disability for Health Care Education, and use of the Delphi method to gain consensus on these standards.
