The Nisonger Center created a new program to improve access to oral health care for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) in their communities through the creation of a psychologically and behaviorally based IDD dental fellowship program.  Focusing on oral health providers that are currently in practice, this hybrid hands-on training will occur at the OSU Nisonger Center McCampbell Hall utilizing Nisonger interdisciplinary faculty members. This innovative program is a collaboration between the Nisonger Center and the Delta Dental Foundation in an attempt to improve the oral health of this vulnerable population.
