This clinic is designed to be a consultative service for you and your primary caregivers. We do not provide primary care services but can assist in finding a primary care provider if needed. We do provide summary information for the general care of adults with Down Syndrome in addition to specific recommendations for the patients seen in clinic.

Clinic Description:  Prior to your scheduled appointment you will be sent a packet of questionnaires to complete and bring with you to your appointment.  These forms are an important part of the consultative service as they assist in assessing current medical and mental health needs.  We use the same packet during follow up appointments to track changes over time.  Appointments typically last 1-1.5 hours.  During this appointment you will meet with a physician for a medical evaluation and with a psychologist for a baseline psychological assessment.  The physician and psychologist work together to make recommendations based on your needs.

A representative from the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio is also typically in clinic to help patients/families link to local resources. Even if not directly served by DSACO, families may still benefit from some of the services available.
