Biography:

Monica graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in the field of Occupational Therapy in 1985.  She is a licensed Occupational Therapist and has been working with children between the ages of 12 months to 6 years for the past 25 years with varying diagnoses.  She is a member of Nisonger’s early intervention and Preschool teams and  provides instruction, strategies and activities to parents at home and teachers in the classroom in the areas of fine motor, sensory processing and adaptive living skills.  She has also supervised Occupational Therapy students from the Ohio State Occupational Therapy graduate program. She has experience with a variety of diagnoses and enjoys working with students and their families in both early intervention and preschool services to encourage independence as they move forward into school age programs.
