NIRS - National Information Reporting System
NIRS is the web-based data management system for the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). NIRS enables the Nisonger Center to report data on its formal Goals, Projects, Activities, Products, and Trainees. Data entered into NIRS includes the services that Nisonger Center provides, what financial support is leveraged beyond its core funding grants, who is being served, and how satisfied those consumers are. The data gathered in NIRS also enables AUCD to develop composite snapshots of programs nationwide, and it helps the center comply with Federal reporting requirements. Ultimately, this reporting goes to the U.S. Congress, which helps fund the AUCD network and the Nisonger Center.
If you have any questions about NIRS or need technical assistance, please contact the Nisonger Center’s Director of Evaluation, James Wiltz, Ph.D.

NIRS Forms:
All forms are fiscal year 2007
The forms include all the information required to enter data into NIRS on Projects, Activities, Products, and Trainees. These forms can help data managers obtain all the relevant information from project directors (e.g. “where does the funding come from?”) prior to trying to enter it.
