Dr. Jane Case-Smith receives President and Provost Distinguished Award for Faculty Services

Ohio State University President Dr. Gordon Gee presented Occupational Therapy Division Chair Jane Case-Smith with the 2012 President and Provost Distinguished Award for Faculty Service. He was joined by College of Medicine Dean Dr. Charles Lockwood and Associate Vice President of Health Services and Academic Affairs Dr. Robert Bornstein. This award spans the entire university, which includes more than 18,000 faculty, and annually recognizes three faculty members who exhibit an extraordinary commitment to their fields and to the communities that they serve.

In being bestowed with the honor, Dr. Case-Smith was lauded for her dedication to the occupational therapy profession as well as the Ohio State University and Columbus, Ohio, communities. She is also a member of the Nisonger Center LEND faculty. Dr. Case-Smith was joined by her husband and one of her sons for the ceremony.
