Exploring Emotions

Fall is here – and along with the beginning of the school year, come many transitions and new emotions for everyone.  Here are some fun options to explore all the different emotions your child may be experiencing:

Eggspressions is a fun, open-ended toy with many different options for play.  It can be used as a matching game or the eggs can also be used as props for discussing emotions in other contexts or activities.

Build-A-Robot is a simple to assemble toy with four interchangeable heads, each with a different emotion.  The wood pieces are easy to grasp and have different textures of children to explore.

Monster Happy Book has repetitive lines and familiar text for young children.  This book works well with a simple communication device and the props are useful for many children.
