Education
Pat graduated from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with a major in international affairs.
Research
Patricia is very active on community boards and planning committees and is the current President of the Autism Society of America’s Ohio chapter. In addition she drafted the Future Planning chapter of OCALI’s Parent Guide to Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Service
Pat is active in several parent support groups and, providing technical assistance and keeping abreast of community resources as they become available. She participates in advisory panels contributing to policy and service delivery initiatives in the developmental disabilities arena. A former United States Senate and House of Representatives employee, her interests include legislation and policy and special education. Two of her three sons have autism spectrum disorders, so ASDs are a particular focus, especially as they impact transition to adulthood. She is the president of the Central Ohio Chapter of the Autism Society of America and the Vice President of the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities.
