“One thing I noticed with my students is that they weren't thinking beyond what was going on this weekend, let alone their lives after high school. I needed a way to prepare my students for their postsecondary transition. The E-Mentoring Program helps students understand their abilities, identify their goals, and realistically plan for the future.”

Instructor, the E-Mentoring Program

What is the E-Mentoring Program?

The E-Mentoring Program uses technology and mentoring to prepare a student with disabilities for their transition from high school to employment or college.  While being supported by a mentor, each student navigates a self-directed online course to develop a personalized Transition Portfolio.

Why should I implement the E-Mentoring Program?

Implementing the online course and managing mentors/mentees all play a role in generating valuable benefits of the program.  The E-Mentoring Program provides assistance to your students who are planning their transition from high school to work or college.

Testimonials contain stories and advice from experienced instructors of the E-Mentoring Program.
