Education
She has a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science from Bowling Green State University, a M.A. in Audiology from Michigan State University, a M.H.A. in Health Administration from Ohio State University, and a Ph.D. in Speech and Hearing Science.

Research
Dr. Whitelaw’s clinical and research interests are in the area of pediatric and educational audiology, clinical education, and professional leadership development. 

Service
Dr. Whitelaw Gail is an audiologist and audiology faculty member on the LEND grant.  In addition to her position with LEND, she is the Director of the Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic and teaches in the Doctor of Audiology (AuD) program at Ohio State.
She has served in leadership roles on the state and national levels, as president of the Ohio Academy of Audiology, a Board member of the American Academy of Audiology from 2000-2007, and as President of the American Academy of Audiology in 2005-2006.  She has been employed in hospital, physician office, and University based settings, and has a long interest in interdisciplinary teams, having previously participated in a LEND program in NY early in her career.
